Founder, of Business Bestie

Tasha, the owner of Business Bestie
, has learned first hand that you can meet great women at events here & there, but it is not enough to truly facilitate relationships globally. Events can be hit or missed especially in social business gatherings. Also, to understanding online presence is essential in connecting with others.

These were two of the reasons for her desire to launch this online platform for women. Business Bestie’s focus is connecting women across the global through our online directory and fostering a positive community that thrives.

Tasha’s Story

Christmas eve 2008, I quit my job as a manager at A&F. A company I had worked for off and on throughout college. I was over long hours, lies of promotion and more. Emailed my dad who was in Iraq at the time and told him what I did. He said he supported me and I needed to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. Very thankful my parents were my biggest supports in going after my dreams.

In a couple of weeks, I determined that launching my own women’s resale boutique was the most brilliant business model. However, the economy at the time was not in a great state with President Obama trying to bring change. The market and companies were having a tough time financially. Then the aha moment of launching an online resale boutique popped into my mind.

I spent four weeks learning Dreamweaver, reading and more as I embarked on my first entrepreneurial journey. Imperfect Concepts was the turning point of who I was and who I was destined to be.

Imperfect Concepts Boutique was an amazing experience for four years of my life. It taught me so much, and I was able to use that knowledge to pivot into a fulltime creative business consultant. December 71th, 2013 I closed my online resale business and solely focused on helping women like me open up their dream businesses. During this time an aha moment happen. Knowing how lonely it could be running an online business, I started thinking of a place where a community could come first. This was the birth, of Business Bestie™.

About Business Bestie

Business Bestie is an Imperfect Concepts Boutique, LLC company. We established Business Bestie out of the need of helping women business owners, influencers, bloggers, and others connect with the ladies from all around the world. There are millions of women businesses worldwide, but there was not a curated and well-designed source that allowed you to search for them in one places. Also, to help you foster relationships and learn from each other.

Business Bestie allows you to connect with women all over the world. Our goal is to help you no matter where you are in the world. As a military brat, I learned the first hand of having to make new friends on the fly. As, an adult I learned the struggles of finding a new hair stylist, nail tech and more when moving to a new town. Do you know how hard it is to find a banker or doctor you can trust? Our goal is to have everyone have access to what they need no matter what.

Running a company can be lonely at times, however by searching the directory users will be able to connect with a business bestie, who gets it. Moving to a new city can be just as hard when searching for things to help make your transition easier. You can ask for friend referrals, but the ball gets dropped sometimes.

Our mission at Imperfect Concepts™ with our various companies; Imperfect Concepts, Business Bestie™ and Kick Start Your eCommerce™ is to create community, educate and support other women businesses. Connecting with like-minded women business all over the global with each other. Everyone needs a business bestie.

I got my degree. More importantly, I got a key to American opportunity. That’s who we are – a nation that rewards ambition with opportunity. Where hard work can lead to success, no matter where you start.
