Our Story
Our founder, Tasha’s consulting company, brought together women from all over the globe. She saw the power of connection. Not only did her clients form friendships, she saw her online community support these women-led companies vigorously. That was her aha moment to create Business Bestie.
What happened next was a pause on her journey that helped her redefine what success looks like for her but building a company from the ground up.
We see how easily a subset of women and men in the tech space can build companies that land them on the Forbes list, but another subset struggle for meaningful connections.
Creating a community where women-led companies can learn how to navigate all spaces matters. For the person who prefers to keep a solopreneur status to the ambitious woman chasing after her first round of funding.
Our focus is on you. Because we are you. Tasha’s first business was launched off a Macbook air in a tiny apartment in Arlington, Texas.
Entrepreneurship is rather lonely, especially with the rise of online entrepreneurs. Your team can be you or less than five people who all communicate over slack, notion, and Monday.com as tools to work together. We want to remove the loneliness but amplify your company’s growth through the amplification of community.
Hundreds of years ago, communities were how people survived. You could always count on your neighbor to watch your kids when needed; the butcher allowed you to have a store account, and friends and family gathered together when the community needed support. Business Bestie aims to bring that back for women-led businesses.
We are not about gatekeeping or cliches. It’s about elevation that happens when the woman next to you is cheering just as loud as if it is her business. We all win.
We are happy you’re here.
Let’s grow together.
We want to be the cornerstone for all that and more. Providing a space where women can list their businesses to be supported, join communities, and read the forum for insight on the subject matter they struggle with to launching an exclusive retreat that gives back.
